SECTIONS & ANGLES

All wooden parts made of unfinished 3/4" x 3 1/2" No. 2 pine lumber, accurately cut and sanded. Matching countersunk holes for No. 10 Flat-Head Woodscrews or 1/4" Carriage Bolts are drilled on the centerline of the Side Rails and Angle sides. Cross Braces have pilot holes for screws, as well as 3/4" holes for wire or cable support. All screws, bolts, nuts and washers furnished, including two longer Carriage Bolts for connecting one Section to another Section, if desired.

LEG ASSEMBLIES Must be ordered separately. Each Assembly consists of two 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 4O"/48" -long Legs, one Leg Brace, two Leg Levellers with t-nut inserts, and hardware. The upper end of each Leg is dadoed for Section fit and support. The bottom end of each Leg has a predrilled hole to accomodate an adjustable Leg Leveller. The Leg Brace provides stability, as well as a means to support a storage shelf, if desired. The length of the Leg Brace corresponds to the length of the Section Cross Braces, and are available in 36", 30", 24", 20", 18", 16" and 12" lengths. Leg Assemblies should be spaced every 3 to 4 feet in your layout. SOLID CONSTRUCTION The components of the Sievers Benchwork create a framework that is sturdy and stable. The Sections fit onto the Leg Assemblies, with the Cross Braces and Leg Braces adding extra strength. Sections may be free-standing or screwed directly to a wall on one side and supported by single Legs on the other. With the recommended Leg Assembly spacing at 3 to 4 feet, you will have an excellent, solid base for your roadbed.

RISERS
Risers provide a convenient way to raise or lower the track level, or to achieve a desired gradient for contoured landscapes, and can be mounted on any section of the open grid-work.
